EMI Music to release Christmas Me to You Album

Carte Blanche Greetings is continuing its successful partnership with EMI by releasing ‘Me to You at Christmas’, a collection of 40 festive feel-good tunes.

The 2-CD compilation will provide the perfect soundtrack to Christmas, with a magical selection of seasonal hits.  From jazz legend Ella Fitzgerald to pop superstar Kylie Minogue, the CD will appeal to music fans of all ages and musical tastes.

As an added bonus, ‘Me to You at Christmas’ comes with a unique code to unlock a virtual gift in the free-to-play online social game, Me to You My Place. The gift is a digital gramophone which plays clips from the album.

Supporting the album launch will be a TV advertising campaign, as well as marketing and PR activity across all media.

The album is released on November 28th, and it’s hoped the CD will prove as successful as CBG’s first collaboration with EMI. ‘Me to You With Love’ reached No.2 in the compilation album charts in February this year, and was the best-selling album on Valentine’s Day.

On 15th August popular social game Me to You My Place expanded beyond Facebook to enable people of all ages to take part in a safe and educational environment on metoyoumyplace.com as new character Tatty Puppy joins the adventure.

Having received much attention from Me to You and My Blue Nose Friends fans on Facebook with over 150,000 players since launching in December 2010, Carte Blanche Greetings, the privately owned leading British greetings card and gifting company, and client of AT New Media (Brands Division), has decided to make Me to You My Place available to all for free or through a subscription based membership on its own freestanding website.

Me to You My Place currently has over 500,000 player interactions within the game and 10,000 shared feed posts every day on the Facebook platform, and 1.3 million Me to You My Place gifts have been shared between players since launch.

Until now only available through Facebook for over 13s, the improved Me to You My Place will offer children the chance to play in a safe environment where they can become Tatty Teddy and embark on their very own adventure to find, nurture and love their favourite My Blue Nose Friends. Me to You My Place will still have the social features that have helped make the game so popular, but now with added parental control. The new gameplay also features a series of educational mini games that will allow children to train their brains in different areas, including arithmetic and memory.

As part of the game extension, Carte Blanche Greetings is also introducing a new character – Tatty Puppy – to the Me to You family.

Even more exciting is the fact that Tatty Puppy will be available to buy as a real-life soft toy with a code that enables fans to unlock the virtual Tatty Puppy in Me to You My Place. The mischievous puppy plays a very different role to the My Blue Nose Friends, which become apparent as the player advances in the game. As Tatty Teddy’s companion on the exciting exploration of the Me to You My Place world, Tatty Puppy will help users discover hidden treasures quicker, aid Tatty Teddy in caring for the My Blue Nose Friends as well as do a trick or two for bonus points.

Early midweek chart shows that Me to You With Love was the best selling album on Valentine’s Day. Currently Number 1! Thanks to all who purchased it.

The Me to You project for Valentines has been a great success to date and will not stop here. Integrating a top selling music album, iPhone Apps, and a full Facebook Game plus marketing crossovers to boot has made this one of the best projects to date.

Music Giant EMI signs Me to You in Deal brokered by Carte Blanche and AT New Media

It is with great excitement, we can announce a new addition to the Tatty Teddy digital licensing program.

Record label EMI has joined forces with Carte Blanche Greetings to release a new love songs CD in time for Valentine’s Day.

Me to You With Love is a unique collection of chart hits, featuring a selection of 43 bestselling tracks, from classic to funky, soulful to swing.

On sale from January 31st, the double CD features a diverse range of recording artists, including Diana Ross, Frank Sinatra, Eliza Doolittle, Katy Perry and Robbie Williams.

Me to You aka Tatty Teddy goes Mobile

New e-card iPhone app leads Tatty Teddy content deal

InfoMedia Services, the mobile content company, today announced it has completed an agreement with Carte Blanche Greetings Ltd, creators and owners of the Me to You ‘Tatty Teddy’ brand, to deliver mobile content and a new Card Sender Application for the iPhone platform, in a deal brokered by AT New Media.

The Me to You Card Sender is the first in a new series of apps to be launched that will cater for all major occasions in the calendar.  These will include 10 favourite Me to You e-cards that users will be able to send as many times as they wish.

A “trial” version will be released to give users the chance to try the product for free before they purchase the premium, fully functioned version.  Updates for the app will add new features and there are plans to develop for other platforms such as Android.

The Me to You ‘Tatty Teddy’ is one of the most recognised brands on the UK high street.  Product categories range from plush toys and figurines to confectionery and even bikes.  The bricks and mortar retail presence is backed up by a strong online retail offering at www.byCarteBlanche.com.
