Just Dance Kids 2 is Available Now… And The Gummy Bear Song is on it..

27 10 2011

“Oh I’m a Gummybear, yes I’m a Gummybear….”

Ubisoft video game Just Dance Kids 2 hit stores this week and it features The Gummybear Song! It is available for Nintendo Wii, Playstation Move for the Playstation 3, and Kinect for Microsoft XBox 360.

Just Dance Kids 2 features more than 40 new songs, including today’s hottest hits, such as “Love Me,” “Whip My Hair,” “Just The Way You Are,” and popular songs from kids’ favorite TV shows and movies. In addition, the game includes mixes of classic kids songs like “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” and “The Hokey Cokey” in several languages.

Created with both kids and families in mind, the game boasts colorful and lively graphics, super fun dance moves and easy-to-follow kid-friendly gameplay. The choreography will have players dancing to covers of such hits as “Burnin’ Up,” “Barbara Ann,” “Shake Your Groove Thing,” and the YouTube smash hit, “I Am A Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song).”

Just Dance Kids 2 takes full advantage of each motion control platform, providing each with a unique feature and experience for the player. The Kinect for Xbox 360 version of Just Dance Kids 2 will allow kids to play without using a controller, star in their own music videos, and create and save their own dance routines to challenge friends and family members. With the PlayStation Move, kids have the ability to capture their cool dance moves with the PlayStation Eye, which snaps photos of players while dancing. In addition, kids can select their favorite song medleys. The Wii version of Just Dance Kids 2 features a brand-new multiplayer mode called Balloon Pop, which lets kids shake their Wii Remote™ controllers to earn more points and have more fun while dancing. All three platforms feature a brand-new game feature called Nonstop Shuffle, where players can play the game for designated periods of time of 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes without having to push any buttons or navigate through menus for non-stop play.

AT Merchandise is European agent for Silly Bandz…

27 09 2010

Global Craze offers licensees and retailers a hot new licensing opportunity

Brand Central, the global licensing agency for the brand Silly Bandz, owned by BCP Imports, has appointed AT Merchandise as its sub-agent for the European Union.

Silly Bandz is the market-leading brand of silicon rubber bands that come in dozens of shapes, colors, and themes. On a wrist or ankle, they function like a regular bracelet, and when taken off they revert to their original shape. They are often worn many at a time and are traded like collectables. They can also be used for their original intent—as a regular rubber band or hair tie.

The UK’s Sun newspaper reported “The colourful bits of silicon are already being worn by fashionistas including Sarah Jessica Parker and Agyness Deyn. And a Facebook page devoted to them has nearly 300,000 followers. As the simple accessory takes the world by storm, inventor Robert Croak has seen his company’s annual sales rocket from a few thousand pounds to a valuation of $65 million.”

The licensing programme is already underway in the USA and includes t-shirts, a videogame, a board game, greetings and stationery.  The style guide enables licensees to recreate the vibrant colours and shapes of Silly Bandz as distinctive and instantly recognisable graphic designs.

AT Merchandise is a division of AT New Media and will be available on stand C076b at Brand Licensing Europe between September 28 & 30, to meet licensees and retailers to present the Silly Bandz licensing opportunity.

Please note, due to the late news on this exciting acquisition, additional information can only presently be obtained by contacting Paul Comben and Simon Kay of AT New Media
